My Unbiased Review For Wealthy Affiliate

What Is Paid Online Writing Jobs

The Paid Online Writing Jobs claims to help people who want to make money complete freelance writing and content projects online, by matching them with writing jobs all around the world.

The website touted a large collection of thousands of open positions for writers in their VIP Job Database. And you’re led to believe that you can just sign up and start working right away from anywhere in the world as long as your interests align with one of their available jobs, even if you have no prior experience in the industry.

Being a member you’ll get instant access to their training guides which cover everything you could possibly need to know about making money as a writer, such as creating impressive content and finding high-paying clients through sourcing strategies.

You get to learn how to make a living while doing what you love.

They offer a few ways to make money online doing freelance writing using their platform:

1. Get Paid To Write Articles And Stories
2. Proof Read Books And Movie Scripts
3. Write Reviews Of Websites
4. Get Paid To Write Blog Posts

All you need to do is following the 3 simple steps:

1. Sign up for a VIP membership
2. Start working on any of their hundreds of paid writing jobs
3. Have your paychecks turn up in your bank account every week

It all sounds perfect until I stumbled upon their affiliate program. They claimed to pay potentially $100 per sale, plus 75% commission on sales and upsells.

The question is why would a freelancing platform give away so much commission, and how are they still making money?

This is similar to another website that I had just reviewed Paying Social Media Jobs.

I promise there’s a secret up their sleeve and I’m going to uncover it in a moment. So just stay with me alright?

How Does Paid Online Writing Jobs Work

Now let me walk you through how does Paid Online Writing Jobs work.

From the moment of signing up, a few things became apparent as to what this platform is all about.

Once you registered with your email address, they will send you an email asking you to sign up as a VIP member.

Then if you decided to pay the money, you will get access to their “fun and easy” FastTrack Job Training Program and you get to browse the VIP Writing Job Database and start work.

The training consists of 4 modules which are of decent quality. But again, the Internet is a treasure trove of resources. There are plenty of ways to get it cheaply or even for free online.

Here are the outlines of the 4 training modules:

Module 1

This module is about teaching you the basics you need to know to get started writing online. They give you tips on how to do freelance writing right, and how to get your first client.

Module 2

In this module, you can find links to some examples of great online writing on Copyblogger and are asked to read. You also get some writing tips such as the importance of having an attention-grabbing heading.

Module 3

Here you will learn some practical skills like SEO optimization, how to use keywords effectively, and how to create content that gets ranks well on search engines.

Advance Training

The Advanced Training is a blog-style course on how to get your name out there through promotion, writing for different publishing platforms, understanding the requirements of online copywriting.

That’s basically all for the lessons. And I still don’t see how these 4 training modules can transform a newbie into a competent freelance writer!

Although this training covers a decent range of topics, it lacks in detail and doesn’t cover enough ground for someone who wants to use these strategies effectively.

Job Board

How bout the so-called VIP Job Database?

Turns up, the highly touted “job database” is actually a job filter or intermediary that redirects you to other freelancing sites like Upwork. Freelancer and Guru. It allows you to filter the jobs by experience level, job site, and platform.

Despite the promise of “high-paying jobs,” it seems that this database is not what they claim to be. You are paying to find these opportunities when you can access them online for free already.

Paid Online Writing Jobs has nothing to offer beyond the information that’s publicly available or easily obtained elsewhere. To make matters worse, they charge you an upfront fee while doing so.

Freelancing is a job like any other, requiring dedication and hard work to make money. Sites that promise easy jobs with high pay are just flat out lying to you!

You may think that the $27 is all you need to pay.

Not true at all.

After you made the payment, you will be taken into a sales funnel that offers 3 different upsells. Personally, I skipped out on all of them. If you are curious, below is a quick outline of the offers included inside of the sales funnels for Paid Online Writing Jobs:

1. Unlimited Membership $97
2. Upsell #2: Social Media Jobs $57
3. Upsell #3: Paid Online Writing Jobs Arbitrage $37

What I Like About Paid Online Writing Jobs

1. Legit Opportunity

As many companies are outsourcing their content creation, freelance writing is becoming a popular way to earn money.

Freelance writers have the advantage of being self-employed and work from home on their own schedule. They can also create an income by writing about what they’re passionate about!

2. 60 Day Money Back Guarantee

As a ClickBank product, you are covered by their no-questions-asked, 60-day money-back guarantee.

So if you’re not satisfied with this product for any reason, they’ll refund your money. You’ve got 60 days to decide if it’s worth keeping or returning the item!

However, keep in mind that the refund policy is only applicable to the front-end product. If you buy any upsells, they are not eligible for a refund so think carefully before pressing “buy.”

What I Don’t Like About Paid Online Writing Jobs

1. Not Enough Guidance

Paid Online Writing Jobs promises a comprehensive training package.

But as you can see, this course is certainly not worth the money. There is not even a single lesson that I would consider worthwhile in this entire program, the training itself isn’t actionable enough compared with information we could learn from elsewhere entirely for free!

I surely expected more from this training course. There was no mentorship, no support system or over-the-shoulder guidance, it is merely a bunch of generic posts thrown together and called itself a training program.

2. Email Spamming

When you sign up for their email list, be prepared to receive promotional emails introducing other low-quality products like the one we are reviewing here.

This shows that they are not interested in helping you improve your skills to land a better-paying job, but rather out there for more money by selling their products.

3. Paying To Get A Job Online

There are a lot of free opportunities out there that can make you money online for a start.

This platform promises you work-at-home opportunities but charges you for the opportunity to apply or be employed through them, which is one of the biggest red flags.

There are many work-at-home opportunities that are scams, especially membership fees involved so watch out for these types of platforms.

4. Why Would Anyone Pay For The Membership

I’m baffled as to why anyone would want to pay a fee here when you can access the same training and job boards elsewhere for free. This is like daylight robbery!

There are so many opportunities out there that do not charge you for access. Most professional job boards offer the same service free. I’d be wary of any site that requires a fee to gain access to their job board.

Where To Find Freelance Writing Jobs For Free

As mentioned above, there are lots of resources out there for freelance writing jobs. One such is Upwork, the world’s largest freelancing website with over 10 million registered users (and counting), gigs that include paid social media jobs to abound!

There’s no need to pay 27 dollars when these sites offer similar services at no cost. Some other options include:

1. Indeed

2. GlassDoor

3. Freelancer

4. Fiverr

As for the training, here are some resources that I have collated for you, completely free of charge. Use them to learn at your own pace!

Is Paid Online Writing Jobs A Scam?

Paid Online Writing Jobs is not a scam, as it does come with some sort of training.

For people who want to make money online by writing, Paid Online Writing Jobs promises what seems like an easy answer. However, as I have revealed in this post, this site is not what it claims to be and is going to charge you $27 for stuff that could be yours free.

The training inside the platform isn’t very extensive either. All they do is funnelling users to other sites where they can find work if they are lucky, like Fiverr or Freelancer which don’t cost anything either!

This service seems pretty redundant to me, and it is not something that I would recommend.

A Better Way To Make Money Online

If you are looking to make money online writing, let me show you a much more reliable option that will not waste your time or money like Paid Writing Online Jobs.

Freelancing is a profession that depends on other people for gigs and cash while owning a blog can be an opportunity to set up your own business.

Why write for others when you could invest in yourself by creating your very own blog?

Look at these people, they are not some extraordinary genius, they are people just like you and me.

And one thing they have in common?

They invest their time and energy on one proven system, which is what I am going to show you.

It is a total package of knowledge, training, and strategies that will guide you from a complete newbie to an extraordinary marketer.

Not only that, I can also be your personal coach if you sign up through my link. I will personally guide you and assist you if you need any help on your venture.
