What Is Xyngular
Xyngular is a direct selling company specialising in health and wellness products, in particular weight-loss and nutritional supplements such as shakes, pills, fat burners, etc. The company is currently based in Utah, United States.
It all started in 2009 when the company was founded by Marc Walker, with the vision of creating something incredibly unique that can truly change any individual’s health, wealth, and life. Prior to Xyngular, Marc had worked for Nuskin (skincare company) and Xango (health and wellness MLM), where he held the position of Vice President of International Operations in both companies.
Seeing many people struggling to lose weight, Xyngular comes up with several kits to help that. Each kit is designed to achieve a specific result with the ultimate goal of losing weight.
Instead of going for a traditional retail route, Xyngular decided on a networking marketing business structure for their sales. What this means is that you can have the option to join in on their business opportunity by becoming a distributor.
Some of the proud achievements by Xyngular includes:
1. One of the fastest-growing companies in Utah four years in a row. That makes them part of Utah’s Fast 50.
2. One of their product -Shine Hormone Optimizer has been shortlisted for innovation and market impact in women’s health and was a finalist for SupplySide Editor’s Choice Awards.
3. Included in the Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies 3 years in a row.
According to Xyngular, the researcher had identified 15 leading causes why people fail at weight loss, namely too much stress, lack of energy, hypothalamus function, dehydration etc.
To break this endless cycle of weight loss resistance, Xyngular suggests it takes more than a single product or diet – you will need a system. Xyngular offers various systems, each span over 30 days to help you meet your weight-loss goals. Included in the systems are Xyngular’s top products, meal plans, and training support.
How To Join Xyngular
Similar to any typical MLM company, you cannot sign up for Xyngular on your own.
You can either contact the person who is referring you or go to this page and talk to their Xyngular Member Service.
Usually, Xyngular will allocate a sponsor for you. You will be someone else’s recruit and be part of someone else’s team.

Before we dive in further, it’s important to familiarise ourselves with the product line Xyngular has to offer.
Xyngular has a good variety of products, their primary products are geared toward weight loss, energy booster, and overall wellness management.
From their website, you can see that Xyngular products fall into the following categories:
1. Nutritional supplements

3. Appetite control supplements
4. Gut health/detox supplement
5. Energy booster supplement
Some products are bundled together and sold as a ‘system’, or ‘kit’, to help you combat weight loss failure by providing a better overall support structure.

How To Make Money With Xyngular
Like many other MLM companies, you can make money with Xyngular by:
1. Selling their products and earn commissions. You can either choose to purchase the product at wholesale and sell it at retail, or referring your customers to make their purchase from Xyngular website, where Xyngular pays you the difference between the retail price and wholesale price in your daily commission check.
2. Recruiting people to unlock bonuses and higher commission
Cost To Join Xyngular
To become a member you will have to pay $14.95. What follows is the starter and transformation kit, which ranges from $199 to $549.
Xyngular Monthly Fee
In order to maximize your commission potential, a distributor must accumulate 120 PV per month, which is equivalent to $150 worth of products. Failure to do so, part of your commission will end up going to your upline.
And to remain active, there is a requirement of 30PV per month, that is to prevent your account from getting suspended or closed.
So now let’s do the math, here is the first-year cost at a glance:
1. $14.95 (membership cost)
2. $199-$549 (transformational kit)
3. $150 x 12 (to fulfil monthly PV requirement)
Which totals up to almost $2,363.95 a year!
Just remember we still have to factor in additional costs such as ad placement, postage and packaging costs etc.
Xyngular Compensation Plan
It is rather common for MLMs compensation plans to be complicated. Xyngular’s compensation plan is no different.
I will try to lay it out as simple as possible.
There are 6 ways Xyngular claims you can get paid:
Retail profits – buy at a wholesale price and earn from the retail price when you sell it.
Rapid rewards program – allows you to earn higher by making new recruits.
Quick start bonus – $100 bonus if you and your 4 downlines each achieve 120PV in the first month.
Residual earnings – unilevel model runs 8 levels deep.
12% Corporate Sales pools – 1% share in the product sales of the entire company.
Leadership bonus – a bonus for the top achievers
Don’t worry if you cannot figure out how does the compensation works, such structures are common among MLM companies. They cannot reward members directly for recruitment, as this will give rise to suspicion for pyramid schemes (more about this later). So instead, they offer rewards when your downlines achieve a certain sales volume. That’s to encourage you to recruit and build up your team.
The various levels of rewards and dealerships also serve as a way to make the whole scheme look enticing and exciting. They make it looks like career advancement is great with many ways for you to make money.
To make things easy, just remember, the two most important thing to keep in mind when joining an MLM company is :
1. Sell the products
2. Recruit downline
Is Xyngular Pyramid Scheme
Despite some critics labelling Xyngular as a pyramid scheme, I personally do not think so, since Xyngular is a legit company that offer real products.
What Is A Pyramid Scheme?
According to Wikipedia, a pyramid scheme is a business model that recruits members via a promise of payments or services for enrolling others into the scheme, rather than supplying investments or sale of products.
As the recruitment progress, the structure soon becomes unsustainable due to the sheer amount of new recruitments needed to take place. There simply aren’t enough people to maintain the structure of the pyramid. As such, pyramid schemes are doomed to collapse and are deemed illegal by many countries around the world.
Due to the nature of MLM, there is a fuzzy line between MLM and pyramid scheme. Avoid any MLM that overemphasise on recruitment rather than selling the actual product. Legitimate MLM is focused on the product itself, not recruitment.

What I Like About Xyngular
1. Proven Track Of Record
Started in 2009, they have passed the 10-year mark and already achieve over 103 million in annual revenue. In year 2021, they ranked #30 among Utah’s Fast 50.
2. Ready Made System For Convenience
Xyngular has carefully crafted various systems to help people meet their weight-loss goals. Each system is designed as a 30-day program that includes Xyngular’s top products, meal plans, and training support.
As a distributor, a bundled deal like this make a better appeal, it helps you make more money within a shorter time frame.
3. Satisfaction Guarantee
For many other MLM companies, people are joining only to make money. I have to admit that Xyngular is somewhat different when looking from this perspective. With a high 84% of members being purely product consumers, it goes to show that there are genuine customers that had tried and tested their products and really love them.
And Xyngular is aware of that, they stand for their product by providing a 30-day money-back guarantee.
What I Don’t Like About Xyngular
1. Recruit, Recruit, Recruit…
Now, I am not saying that they’re a pyramid scheme. The difference between this company and a pyramid scheme is that Xyngular has products to sell.
However, their compensation plan has you recruiting a lot of people to get higher bonuses and commissions as opposed to just generating own retail sales.
In other words, success hinges not only on your ability to sell the products but also on the performance of your downline.
We all know the drill – an old friend or acquaintance contacted you out of the blue, before long this person is inviting you to a hosting party or asking you to watch an informative video of some sort. What hit next was the sales pitch – how you can live a carefree life while earning a side income.
It is unfortunate when someone pitches their network marketing business at the expense of their friendship.
I hate to say this, but most people newly involved with an MLM company have to get started from their close family and friends. If you want to be part of this, that’s exactly what you have to do too. Do you have what it takes to put your relationship on the line?
2. How Much Money Can You Really Make With Xyngular?
Here’s the answer that you are looking for…
Below is Xyngular Income Disclosure Statement 2020:
As you can see, the majority of the sales rep fall into the rank of Distributor. And their average income?
$74 per month, which is equivalent to $888 per year!
Not to mention 64% of the distributor did not receive ANY income.
As someone trained in Statistics, I have to point out that this table is highly misleading. By excluding the 64% of the distributors that are not earning any money from the calculation of the average income, the statistic presented is highly biased.
What does it mean?
To put it simply, the true average income among distributors is actually much lower than $74!
And we haven’t even take into account the cost of running this business – the membership fees, the products they bought for themselves due to months that they cannot meet the minimum requirements etc.
To make a full-time income, I’ll say you need to be at least at the Platinum Manager level – which means that only 0.28% of the sales rep actually earn a living from it.
3. You Have to Pay in Order to Receive Commission
To remain active as a Xyngular sales rep and receiving commission from Xyngular, you need to purchase or sell a certain amount of products every month to accumulate enough points.
In other words, you have to pay to get paid, it’s that straightforward.
4. Called Out By The Environmental Research Center Plus Various Lawsuits
In 2017 Xyngular were called out by Environmental Research Center, Inc. for having lead compounds in their products. They had to pay a settlement of $90,000 for that. They are now obliged to have a Prop 65 warning on their products as required by the State of California.
There were also a series of lawsuits filed between Xyngular and Marc Schenkel, a master distributor of Xyngular, due to misappropriation of company resources.
5. Potential Xyngular Side Effect
Despite Xyngular boasts of having products containing 100% natural ingredients, some people have reported side effects with their products. While those side effects are mostly mild, it is worth mentioning in case someone decided to try it out :
Diarrhoea
Fatigue
Tremor
Insomnia
Bloating
Headaches
Jitters
Anxiety
Vomiting
Of course, don’t just take my word for it, let’s see it for yourself what customers around the world has to say about it:
6. Mixed Reviews
It appears to me that even with Xyngular, you will have to watch your food intake rigorously. The system requires you to have a lifestyle change that cut back heavily on your carbohydrate intake.
With only 500-800 calories allowed per day, far lower than the recommended daily calorie intake of 2,000 calories a day for women and 2,500 for men, starvation is probably what makes you lose weight, not their products.
Let’s take a look at the rating of Accelerate by Xyngular on Amazon, as you can see, it doesn’t seem to be particularly impressive either.
For the amount you pay for their system, you could have spent on a bunch of healthy foods, exercise equipment, gym membership etc.
I got my leads every day without hard-selling.
Can You Really Make Money With Xyngular?
Well, it’s a sad truth that the odds are definitely stacked against you when it comes to making money through an MLM business. Now don’t get me wrong; I’m not saying Xyngular can’t help some people make their dreams come true and be successful, but don’t expect overnight success because chances are slim indeed!
Based on research at the FTC, a vast majority of 99% of MLM marketers are losing money. That left with just 1% that actually turn a profit. And that 1% is basically those at the very top of a recruitment structure.
Due to the pyramid structure of network marketing, recruiters can earn from both their own sales and the sales of their downlines. Naturally, it rewards those at the top.
In order to make money with Xyngular, you have to keep on working, otherwise, you will lose the earnings of your current rank, or even the right to sell.
If passive income is what you are looking for, then this is probably not what you are hoping for.
It is easy to see how things can get complicated quickly – juggling between sales, and management of your team. It is by no mean an easy task. Far too often, I have seen many people get involved in MLM thinking that they can just get a few recruits and then sit back collecting money – now we know that it is far from the truth!
How I Make Passive Income Online
Although it is possible to make money with Xyngular, not everyone is cut out to do face-to-face selling.
In my honest opinion, the best reason for joining any MLM company is when you really love a product, and you want to get your cost covered while making extra money.
If making money is your only reason for joining, forget about it. Losing friends, wasting time and energy is not going to make it worth the money you make. And the worst part, you are still technically ’employed’, you build up nothing for yourself at all. If one day the company get busted, the downline that you have spent so much building will be gone in an instant too.
