What Is Globallee
Globallee is a direct selling company specialising in health and wellness products.
It all started in 2019 when the company was founded by Mark McKnight (CEO), Nauder Khazan (Chairman), and Lamia Bettaieb (President). Their mission is to create optimism and positive connections with extraordinary people around the world, and delivering great Globallee products to happy customers and creating a Globallee marketplace.
From their mission statement, it sounds to me like this is a company that focuses on connecting people rather than selling products. Is that a red flag? Are they a pyramid scheme in disguise?
I promise we will get to that in a while, just read on to find out more.
As you can see, the company is pretty new, not much background story can be found on their website. What we do know is that the company is based in Texas. and McKnight’s experience in the nutritional supplement industry dates all the way back to 1995 when he served as the VP of Sales and Marketing for a company known as ACI.
As for the other co-founders, Lamia Bettaieb previously held a senior position at World Global Network, while Nauder Khazan was the founder and CEO of a company known as Stiforp.
Despite being a new company, it is good to know that the founders are experienced in the area of business and marketing. This shows that they know what they are doing and it is unlikely for the company to collapse in the near future.

How To Join Globallee
Just like any typical MLM company, you cannot sign up Globallee on your own. You have to sign up under another Globallee consultant by providing the membership number of the person who is referring you. Else, Globallee will allocate one for you. You will be someone else’s recruit and be part of someone else’s team.
If you go to their website, they don’t have much information on how to get started and what’s the cost.
All they ask you to do is to get back to the person who introduced this opportunity to you – a very typical method used by MLMs.
Product Line
Before we take the plunge, it’s important to familiarise ourselves with the product line Globallee has to offer.
Globallee has a huge product line that includes health supplements, gut health, beauty, weight management etc.
Their flagship products fall into the following brands: Taka, BeneTRIM, IAccel, and Eterno:
Taka
Taka is a range of beverage sticks that comes in hibiscus, blueberry, and watermelon flavour. The formula is said to contain naturally-occurring forms of caffeine, plus other traditional herbs and nutrients to help you improve energy levels, promote gut health, and increase mental clarity.
To consume, simply mix the content of the packet with water and serve immediately.
BeneTRIM
BeneTrim products aim to help with weight management. It contains 100% natural herbs that help foster a positive mood, which in turn reduce cravings for unhealthy foods.
IAccel
IAccel is hailed as an immunity enhancer. It comes in the form of nutritional drops. It combines patented nano colloidal silver with aloe vera and aloe polysaccharide that target the bad bacteria while keeping the good bacteria intact.
ETERNO
Eterno comes in the form of capsule and cream, and it is said to contain highly bio-available nutrients that support hormone health, combat ageing and promote youth.
The product is formulated with essential minerals like zinc and magnesium, GABA (a brain chemical that may help improve your mood), and amino acids.
Other than these, they also sell beauty products like faux mink lashes and tanning mousse.

How To Make Money With Globallee
Like many other MLM companies, you can make money with Globallee by:
1. Selling their products and earning commissions. You can either get products at wholesale prices and then sell them for the retail prices to make a profit, or refer your customers to make their purchase from your personal Globallee website, where Globallee pays you the difference between the retail price and wholesale price in your commission check.
2. Recruiting people to access bonuses and higher commission.
Cost To Join Globallee
There are a few ways for you to be a part of Globallee:
Customer (Free)
Customers purchase Globallee products at full retail price.
Preferred Customer (Free)
These are customers who enrol and subscribe for a monthly Auto Shipment order of Globallee products on the website, but who do not enrol to be Globallee Independent Brand Ambassadors.
Globallee Distributor
Globallee Distributors get to purchase Globallee products at wholesale price and are eligible to earn a commission selling Globallee products.
To become a Globallee distributor, one has to:
1. Pay a subscription fee of $49 – you get a personal Globallee website with support access for 12 months
2. Purchase a business starter kit at $299 or $499
That’s not all, here is something worth mentioning…
Monthly Fee
Being a Globallee Brand Ambassador (the lowest rank in terms of Globallee distributorship), the amount of commission you can earn is very limited. In order to earn more commission selling Globallee products, you will need to advance in ranks.
One of the prerequisites for your advancement is to accumulate 50 QV per month (which is around $100). QV is defined as the value for your own personal purchases, your preferred customer purchases, or from your retail customers who place orders on your Globallee website.
What does it mean?
It means that there are times when you need to fork up your own money in order to meet the minimum requirement to stay ‘active’.
So let’s do the math, this is how your expenses look like in the first year:
– $49
– $299 to $499
– $100 x 12
That amounts to around $1,748 per year.
Just remember we still have to factor in additional costs such as ad placement, postage and packaging costs etc.
Globallee Compensation Plan
Like many other MLM companies, Globallee has a complicated compensation plan.
I will try to lay it out as simple as possible.
Globallee compensation plan works on a unilevel compensation plan, placing you as a distributor at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited distributor placed directly under you (Level 1). When a level 1 distributor recruits new downlines, they are placed on your level 2 unilevel team; when a level 2 distributor recruits new downlines, they are placed on your level 3 unilevel team, the process goes on infinitely.
There are 9 ways Globallee claims you can get paid:
1. Retail Customer Commissions
You can purchase the Globallee products at wholesale cost and then resell them to customers at the Suggested Retail price. By doing so you earn a 20% profit immediately. If a retail customer places a one-time order through your replicated website, you get to earn the 20% profit too. Unfortunately, this commission is not paid on Preferred Customer sales.
2. Customer Acquisition Bonus On New Preferred Customer
This commission is paid out when your customer opts for an automatic monthly shipment, which gives them a 20% discount by doing so.
The qualified distributor will receive a 40% Customer Acquisition Bonus on the commissionable volume (CV) of the customer’s first month’s product purchase. As for the subsequent orders, the payout percentage will depend on the rank you achieved as a part of the Customer Club.
3. Fast Start Commissions
You get to earn this commission on the initial product orders made by your newly enrolled Independent Brand Ambassadors. This includes the purchase of a “Builder Pack” or any combination of commissionable products purchased at the time of enrollment.
How much you earn depends on the rank you achieved:
Qualified ambassador rank – earn 10% in fast start commissions
Team builder rank – earn 15%
Team leader rank – earn 20%
4. Dual Team Commissions
You need to be at least a Qualified Ambassador to earn Dual Team Commissions. As you continue to recruit and expanding your network, they are placed on either the left or right leg of your dual team organisation.
The purchases made by your downline contributes to the Commissionable Volume (CV). Whenever you accumulate 500CV on both of your left and right team, you complete a ‘cycle’ and will get a $50 bonus.
5. Dual Team Accelerator Bonus
This works like the Dual Team Commissions, but it pays out after you complete 10 ‘cycles’ and you will get an additional $250.
6. Dual Team Matching Bonus
You get to earn a matching bonus on the dual team commissions from everyone you enrol up to 3 levels deep:
Depending on your rank, you can earn up to the following percentages:
– Level 1 = 25%
– Level 2 = 15%
– Level 3 = 10%
7. Residual Commissions On The Cutomer Club
Here you get to earn a commission down to the 9th level of your enrollment tree. It rewards you for product purchases
from Preferred Customers in your personal enrollment group.
8. Residual Commissions On Product Purchases
This commission is similar to the above but you get to earn a commission on all future orders from your downline, and those recruited by your downline, up to 9 generations deep.
It includes any one-time orders as well as auto-shipment orders, but not initial enrollment product purchases (i.e. Builder Packs).
9. Infinity Bonus
Instead of only 9 levels deep, this bonus allows you to earn an additional 1% to 5% infinitely deep throughout your recruitment tree.
A leadership rank of Emerald Executive and above is required in order for you to qualify for this bonus.
Don’t worry if you cannot figure out how does the compensation works, such structures are common among MLM companies. They cannot reward members directly for recruitment, as this will give rise to suspicion for pyramid schemes (more about this later). So instead, they offer rewards when your downlines achieve a certain sales volume. That’s to encourage you to recruit and build up your team.
The various levels of rewards and dealerships also serve as a way to make the whole scheme look enticing and exciting. They make it looks like career advancement is great with many ways for you to make money.
To make things easy, just remember, the two most important thing to keep in mind when joining an MLM company is :
1. Sell the products
2. Recruit downline

Is Globallee Pyramid Scheme
Despite some critics labelling Globallee as a pyramid scheme, personally I don’t think so, as Globallee as some real products to sell.
What Is A Pyramid Scheme?
According to Wikipedia, a pyramid scheme is a business model that recruits members via a promise of payments or services for enrolling others into the scheme, rather than supplying investments or sale of products.
As the recruitment progress, the structure soon becomes unsustainable due to the sheer amount of new recruitments needed to take place. There simply aren’t enough people to maintain the structure of the pyramid. As such, pyramid schemes are doomed to collapse and are deemed illegal by many countries around the world.
Due to the nature of MLM, there is a fuzzy line between MLM and pyramid scheme. Avoid any MLM that overemphasise on recruitment rather than selling the actual product. Legitimate MLM is focused on the product itself, not recruitment.
What I Like About Globallee
1. Higher Chance For You To Work Yourself To The Top
Founded in 2019, Globallee is a very new company.
There are many advantages of joining an MLM early on. For example, during the early stage, there is a mystique surrounding the opportunity because not many people have come to know about it yet. It is an exciting time to get involved!
Timing is also crucial to your success in MLM. To really flourish in the MLM industry, you need to join the right company at the right time. Too late and you will miss the opportunities for growth that the early adopters have.
You have the chance to get in early before the momentum hits, and then ride the wave through the company’s growth, which is really good for you.
While it is still possible for you to make it big later on, you will have to work much harder than you would have if you had joined early on.
2. Integrate Technology Into Their Marketing Effort
I am not knocking it, there is something powerful about face to face selling – looking at your prospects in the eyes, observing their body language as you pitch etc.
However, with this pandemic going on, and the busy lifestyle that we have, most people starting to shun away from this practice. You can spend an hour pitching only to have people tell you ‘I will think about it’, but never really get back. It is an inefficient and time-consuming way of building a business.
Good thing that Globallee provides its distributors with a personal website. It allows you to use technology to generate leads from the comfort of your own home. You can drive traffic to your site rather than going around pitching to family and friends.
If you are interested in network marketing, a combination of both strategies is what I suggest. The more avenues you explore, the more chances of winning!
What I Don’t Like About Globallee
1. Recruit, Recruit, Recruit…
Now, I am not saying that they’re a pyramid scheme. The difference between this company and a pyramid scheme is that Globallee has products to sell.
However, their compensation plan has you recruiting a lot of people to get higher bonuses and commissions as opposed to just generating team retail sales.
In other word, success hinges not only on your ability to sell the products but also on the performance of your downline.
We all know the drill – an old friend or acquaintance contacted you out of the blue, before long this person is inviting you to a hosting party or asking you to watch an informative video of some sort. What hit next was the sales pitch – how you can live a carefree life while earning a side income.
It is unfortunate when someone pitches their network marketing business at the expense of their friendship.
I hate to say this, but most people newly involved with an MLM company have to get started from their close family and friends. If you want to be part of this, that’s exactly what you have to do too. Do you have what it takes to put your relationship on the line?
Expect yourself exhausting your circle of friends and family with your sales pitch to try and convince them into the business for your own monetary gains.
After all, Globallee is a typical MLM company. You’re required to do all the face-to-face selling to run this business.
2. No Income Disclosures
Let’s face it!
Every single business venture involves risk. Before getting yourself involved, it is always best to exercise caution. Do your research and look for numbers on your odds for success. The numbers will guide you on whether to say yes or run for the hills.
My take is, as long as you understand the risk and can afford it, that’s fine. But of course, never start a business where the odds of success are better at a Vegas slot machine – that’s common sense.
So here comes the problem, Globallee is not a public listed company, and they do not release any income disclosure statement. In fact, Globallee seems to be pretty secretive with many things, there is not much information you can find online about them.
Particularly, without an income disclosure, we can’t do our math and can only make our wild guesses on the income potential.
3. You Have to Pay in Order to Receive Commission
To remain active as Globallee sales rep and receiving commission from them, you need to purchase or sell a certain amount of products every month to accumulate enough points.
It’s 50 CV (around $100) every month, and if you fail to maintain the points, you won’t be able to receive a commission if any.
In other words, you have to pay to get paid, it’s that straightforward.
4. Turn distributors into customers
This is a secret they don’t want you to know.
Where do all the revenue of all these multi-million networking companies come from?
You will be surprised, in many networking companies, the bottom ranked distributors are the ones supporting the financial weight of the company.
Your monthly autoship, the sales target to meet, another rank or level to conquer – all these just to get you hooked up until you willingly pay to promote its products, pay to get into the game, even before you start to earn any money.
5. Any Scientific Evidence Or Research?
I can’t seem to find any research paper or scientific evidence to back up the claims made by Globallee on how the products work.
In fact, I am very concerned about how they advertise colloidal silver as something to enhance ‘immunity’.
Colloidal silver is often hailed as a ‘safer’ alternative to our conventional antibiotics. However, antibiotic IS antibiotic. It kills everything good and bad inclusive!
We don’t take antibiotics to ‘enhance’ our immunity. We only take it as and when it is needed.

Can You Really Make Money With Globallee?
Overall, Globallee doesn’t sound like a very good MLM opportunity. It is still very new and a lack of information online can potentially deter others from getting onboard.
However, I do like its strategy of providing a personal website to its distributors. This allows you to use Internet marketing as a business building tool. For those who are not a fan of face-to-face selling, having your own website can be a game-changer. You simply need to learn how to drive traffic to your referral link, and your business is set to go. Here is a free course that I find helpful to get you started on this.
I know MLMs are a tempting model because the startup cost is so low compared to many legitimate businesses. But we also have to keep in mind that due to the pyramid structure of network marketing, recruiters can earn from both their own sales and the sales of their downlines. Naturally, it rewards those at the top.
A common issue with MLM is that, in order to continue receiving commission from your downline, you have to keep on working, otherwise, you will lose the earnings of your current rank, or even the right to sell.
If passive income is what you are looking for, then this is probably not what you are hoping for.
It is easy to see how things can get complicated quickly – juggling between sales, and management of your team. It is by no mean an easy task. Far too often, I have seen many people get involved in MLM thinking that they can just get a few recruits and then sit back collecting money – now we know that it is far from the truth!
How I Make Passive Income Online
In my honest opinion, the best reason for joining any MLM company is when you really love a product, and you want to get your cost covered while making extra money.
If making money is your only reason for joining, forget about it. Losing friends, wasting time and energy is not going to make it worth the money you make. And the worst part, you are still technically ’employed’, you build up nothing for yourself at all. If one day the company get busted, the downline that you have spent so much building will be gone in an instant too.
