This is my first go-to place for all the images on my site. It has over 1 million+ high-quality stock images, vectors and videos shared and released under Creative Commons CC0 into the public domain.

All images are safe to use without asking for permission or giving credit to the artist – even for commercial purposes. You can even filter your query down by factors like media type, orientation, colour, and minimum dimensions.

 

2. Negative Space

Negative Space brings together a community of photographers who want to share their work and a community of online visitors who want to use their beautiful, free high-resolution images without any restrictions.

It’s easy to filter through the gallery of photos, which are sortable by category, copy space position, and colour.

 

3. FreeImages

Freeimages.com was launched in February 2001 as an alternative for expensive stock photography. The idea was to create a site where creative people could exchange their photos for inspiration or work. The site has evolved into the massive community you see today — there are over 2,500,000 registered users and around 400,000 photos online.

 

4. UnSplash

This is another site that I frequented for images for my site. Unsplash has over a million free high-resolution photos that are free to download and use under the Unsplash License.

Pexel offers hundreds of thousands of free stock photos and every day new high-resolution photos will be added. All photos are hand-picked from photos uploaded by the users or sourced from free image websites. Pexel makes sure all published pictures are high-quality and licensed under the Pexels license.

 

6. FoodiesFeed

FoodiesFeed is a resource of awesome naturally looking food photos that are completely free to download. Food photographers from all around the world share their photos under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0) license to help accomplish the ultimate goal of Foodiesfeed, to make the online space related to food more beautiful and eliminate all the ugly sterile stock photos that people still keep using.

 

 

7. Startup Stock Photos

As the name suggested, Startup Stock Photos offers images related to startup scene – people in casual clothing working on a laptop, writing on whiteboard etc.
