CloutBux Review – No Bucks To Earn

CloutBux Review

Claiming to be the #1 influencer network, CloutBux is making an uproar in the social media.

But something about CloutBux alarmed me – free to sign up, make $500 today, $2 per click on your referral link, make $10-$15 per referral… all these statements sound way too familiar.

As it turns up, CloutBux is nothing more than a phishing scam. So take my heed and stay away from it! It resembles closely to a few other SCAM sites that I have reviewed before like CloutBucks.

For those of you who have been following my website, you’ll know that I always go deep below the surface to find out what a product/system truly is, before making my recommendation. And I don’t take the word SCAM lightly.

Honest, unbiased reviews – that is what you will find here.

My Unbiased Review For Wealthy Affiliate

What Is CloutBux

CloutBux claims to be the #1 influencer network in the world connecting influencers to advertisers.

According to the info on their site, not only CloutBux is free to sign up, but you will also receive $100 sign-up bonus (seriously??), get $2 per click on your referral link, earn $10-$15 for every person you invite and make $35 by carrying out small tasks etc.

Let’s be honest to ourselves, all these sound too good to be true because legitimate sites don’t pay that much for menial works like this.

You might have come across many testimonials on social media claiming that CloutBux is legit. Let me forewarn you – be very careful, because those people are likely victims of the scam themselves.

How Does CloutBux Work

Now let me save you the trouble by bringing you straight into CloutBux members’ area so that you don’t have to risk your own personal information to register an account with them.

From the dashboard, you will see that you can ‘make money’ by completing simple tasks, make videos promoting CloutBux, or simply by promoting your referral link and getting referrals to their site:

1. $35 Task Wall

There are only around 10+ tasks listed on the task wall. You will make $35 by completing each task, and you are told that you can only complete each offer once.

Uhm… but do they really look like ‘task’ to you? All that I can see are contest entries that are trying to steal your personal information. Come on, there is no real job here!

And they even show you a ‘trick’ to bypass their own rule – so that you can complete each task multiple time by using different devices.

Getting paid $35 by simply filling up personal information is already suspicious enough, and now you can even do it multiple time?!

2. Sharing Your Referral Link

Upon registration, you will be given a unique referral link which you can share with others. You get $2 per click and $20 for every sign-up.

The promotional material is done-for-you, all you need to do is copy and paste those images into your social media, and post them together with your referral link.

3. Submitting YouTube video

The video title and description are all written for you. All you need to do is subscribing to CloutBux YouTube channel, creating a video telling your audience how much you have made with CloutBux, why you love them etc.

Once you have posted your video, come back to this page and insert a link to your video. You will be credited $50 to your account.

4. Blasting Your Affiliate Links On Social Media

Of course, CloutBux wants you to refer as many people as possible to the platform, doing the dirty work for them.

So they are offering you $10 each time you post the link on social media:

To make it less suspicious, they limit you to one post per every 48 hours.

The minimum cash out amount is $100. However, when I tried to request for a cash-out I got prompted the following message:

As it turns up, you will need to meet the minimum requirement of 20 referral link clicks, 5 referrals, and 5 completed task wall tasks, which is not a lot to ask for actually.

Now time for a reality check!

CloutBux, are you saying that I can make $100 by signing up and earn $20 if I get someone to sign up (who will also earn $100), all while none of us having to pay anything?

So where does the money come from? There is no real income-generating business here and obviously, you do not build something out of nothing. Common sense tells us that we do not simply get paid by referring people to a site that has no real commercial activity associated with it.

Still not convinced? Let me reveal to you the TRUE IDENTITY of this mysterious yet powerful platform in the next section.

CloutBux Ugly Truth Revealed

1. Close Resemblance With Other Scam Schemes

Wait a minute, are my eyes seeing double (or triple in this case) here?

Actually no, if you look at each image carefully, you will see that CloutBux is just one of those recycled sites like CloutBonus, or EarnBucks etc. They all have a similar website, layout, wordings and dashboard.

If you have read my reviews on them, you will know that I have categorised all these schemes as scams. So any association with these names are flat out bad news.

Usually, sites like this only existed VERY briefly, a few months at most. They have to keep changing their identity because once people found out that they are not paying, the negative reviews will be everywhere and no one else will fall for it.

2. Lies Upon Lies

We were told that CloutBux was started in Mar 2015. However, the domain name was registered on 13 Jan 2020, which is merely a week from the time of writing this article.

They are just trying to improve their credibility by making it seems like they have been around for a while already.

And what kind of company provides an email address that is not valid?

Scammers of course!

3. CloutBux Payment Proof

Let’s face it! No one ever gets paid from them.

Once you met the payout requirement and trying to cash out, they will just tell you that you have successfully scheduled for a withdrawal and that you can expect to receive the money into your bank / PayPal account in few weeks time. That is when most people get comfortable, thinking that they have got their money.

The truth is, these scammers are just buying more time for themselves, trying to lure in more people before everyone started to see their true colour. No payment will come in when the time comes.

The only person benefitting from this are the scammers behind the scene.

When you are filling up survey, completing small tasks, you are really making money… not for yourself but for the scammers.

How do I know? Because I have I reviewed more than 20 sites like this and this is what was happening to each and every one of them.

4. Potential Phishing

You may be wondering what CloutBux is really up to. After all, it is free to join and they have not asked for any money from you.

Only that scams nowadays are getting more sophisticated.

For all we know, this could be a data harvesting scheme that steals your personal information such as name, address, phone number or even credit card detail (which is required when you are completing the tasks on task wall).

Scammers are no longer just after your money, they want your personal information too. That information can then be sold to the black market in exchange for cash.

As a result, you may be spammed and resulting in a loss of privacy.

And as you click away from the platform to complete those ‘tasks’, you may even land on some shady sites, like online casinos, unregulated sites etc, which could eventually lead you to trojan and viruses.

Is CloutBux A Scam

CloutBux is definitely a scam.

All the works and no payment, they are just making you a minion for themselves. Imagine those people who might have engaged paid ads for this. They would have wasted their time, money and risk their personal information falling into the wrong hands.

If you’re tired of the never-ending scam, keep reading because I have good news for you. To make good money online, you need to do it the right way.
