CloutBonus has created a sensation on social media recently.
Free to sign up, make $500 a day, $25 sign up bonus, make $10-$15 per referral… this seemingly easy way to make money online sweeps everyone off their feet!
However, all the offers are just too good to be true. And I believe you have the same suspicion too, that’s why you are here to find out more.
Now let me give you a heads up – CloutBonus is a scam, so stay away from it! It resembles closely to a few other SCAM sites that I have reviewed before like CloutBucks.
For those of you who have been following my website, you’ll know that I always go deep below the surface to find out what a product/system truly is, before making my recommendation. And I don’t take the word SCAM lightly.
Honest, unbiased reviews – that is what you will find here.

What Is CloutBonus
CloutBonus claims to be the #1 influencer network in the world connecting influencers to advertisers.
According to the info on their site, you’ll receive $25 bonus once you’re registered, earn $10-$15 for every person you invite and make $20 to $30 by carrying out small tasks etc.
Let’s be honest to ourselves, all these sound too good to be true because legitimate sites don’t pay that much for menial works like this.
Yes, there are a few testimonials and even payment proofs shown on CloutBonus website, but those are actually fake and I am going to PROVE IT to you in a short while.
You might have even come across many testimonials on social media claiming that CloutBonus is legit. Let me forewarn you – be very careful, because those people are likely victims of the scam themselves.
How Does CloutBonus Work
Now let me save you the trouble by bringing you straight into CloutBonus members’ area so that you don’t have to risk your own personal information to register an account with them.
From the dashboard, you will see that you can ‘make money’ with CloutBonus via several ways including completing simple tasks, producing videos promoting CloutBonus, or promoting your referral link and getting referrals to their site:
1. $30 Task Wall
Here you get a list of tasks to be completed. You will make $30 by completing each task, and you are told that you can only complete each offer once.
Here is an instructional video provided by CloutBonus on how to complete the task. It shows us how to install various apps and create accounts with them.
But seriously, I can’t find a single app installation task on the task list. All that I can find are dubious surveys or contest entries that aim to collect more of your personal details, and the information requested varies depending on the task itself.
2. Sharing Your Referral Link
Upon registration, you will be given a unique referral link which you can share with others. You get $2 per click and $10 for every sign-up.
The promotional material is done-for-you, all you need to do is copy and paste those images into your social media, and post them together with your referral link.
But wait! Why is the promotional material titled ViralMarket instead of CloutBonus?
Congratulations, you have just spotted something dubious. If you want to find out what kind of dirty trick are they playing, keep on reading, I will expose them in the following section.
3. Submitting YouTube video
The video title and description are all written for you. All you need to do is subscribing to CloutBonus YouTube channel, creating a video telling your audience how much you have made with CloutBonus, and why you love them etc. Once you have done that, enter the video link on the dashboard to earn $50.
Sounds really easy, isn’t it?
4. Rewards Center
To reward your loyalty, you are given 1 VM coin for every $1 that you earn. These coins can be exchanged for many different prizes that can be found below.
You will need to meet the minimum requirement of 20 referral link clicks, 5 referrals, and 4 completed taskwall tasks before you can request for a withdrawal. It might sound a lot but with if you really do your due diligence, it won’t take long before you can exceed the threshold.
Now time for a reality check!
You mean you can make $25 just by signing up and earn $10 when other people sign up through you, all while none of you having to pay anything?
How does CloutBonus pay you? Where does the money come from? There is no real income-generating business here and obviously, you do not build something out of nothing. Common sense tells us that we do not simply get paid by referring people to a site that has no real commercial activity associated with it.
Still not convinced? Let me reveal to you the TRUE IDENTITY of this mysterious yet powerful platform in the next section.
CloutBonus Ugly Truths Revealed
1. Close Resemblance With Other Scam Schemes
If you think CloutBonus is just a standalone scam scheme, you will be shocked!
Notice how similar their promotional materials are?
All these promotional material match words by words! What are the chances of this?
And if you are wondering what is the big deal of having matching sales material, let me explain to you here.
All of the other SCAM schemes above e.g. Cloutbucks, and ViralPay had only existed VERY briefly, a few months at most. They have to keep changing their identity because once people found out that they are not paying, the negative reviews will be everywhere and no one else will fall for it. This also explains why the promotional material for CloutBonus was titled ViralMarket- because they kept changing their identity and they are bound to make a human mistake.
They have literally forgotten to update their promotional material!
Check out this bad review for ViralPay, which had ViralPay busted just one month after it came into existence:
2. Fake Executive Team
Will a legit company put up a fake executive team on their website?
The image for their General Manager is taken from a stock image site called Alamy. If they can fake one member, chances are the rest of the team are also fake. I believe there is no need for me to elaborate further on this point, right?
3. Fake Testimonials
I know you must be wondering, are the testimonials shown on CloutBonus site real?
Let me show you something.
I performed a Whois search on CloutBonus, which reveals that the domain was created on November 9, 2019
CloutBonus is only slightly more than a month old at the time of me writing this review. It simply did not exist a year ago, rendering this testimonial invalid.
4. CloutBonus Payment Proof’
Still waiting for your payment?
No one will ever cash out from this program. They will tell you that your withdrawal request is successful and that your payment is scheduled in 2 weeks time or so. However, no payment will go into your account on the scheduled time.
If you have stumbled across so-called CloutBonus ‘payment proof’ online, rest assured that those are posted by other victims of this scam scheme.
The amount you saw is most likely the account balance shown in their CloutBonus account which they haven’t cash out, or the ‘withdrawal successful notice‘ which they have mistaken as successful payment.
5. Potential Phishing
I know, CloutBonus simply sounds too good to be missed. What’s the harm just trying it out, right?
Let’s face it! For all we know, this could be a data harvesting scheme that steals your personal information such as name, email address, phone number (which is required when you are completing the tasks on task wall) etc.
Scammers nowadays are no longer just after your money, they want your personal information too.
That information can then be sold to the third party for cash. As a result, your email could be flooded with spam emails or resulting in a loss of privacy.
And as you click away from the platform to complete those ‘tasks’, you may even land on some shady sites, like online casinos, unregulated health supplements sites etc, which could eventually lead you to malware and viruses.
